This is the premise of the Regional Partnerships Initiative, an effort led by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to get locally based conservation groups across the state - from mountain bikers, to hunters, to hikers, to campers, to water protectors, and beyond - in one big conversation with each other.

I was contracted to build a StoryMap for the RPI to facilitate these interactions, and help get the word out to groups interested in applying for future rounds of funding. This site aims to be an initial landing place for the Initiative, with multiple goals: to educate readers about the RPI and its affiliated groups; to allow participating groups a place to showcase their work online, if they don’t already do so; and to encourage collaborations between groups beyond their regularly scheduled meetings. The StoryMap was initially published in June, 2023; any updates since that time are from RPI staff.
